Getting started
1. Pick a plan and order — your server auto-deploys immediately.
2. Open the control panel; your IP and console are ready. You can copy the IP address by clicking on it (it is under the company logo and your server’s name).
3. Set your world, gamemode, whitelist, and plugins from the file manager. We recommend you keep your server whitelisted to avoid griefing.
4. Accept the Minecraft EULA. Find eula.txt in the File Manager, and set false to true. You can now go to the console and hit start to start the server.
5. Share the address and invite your friends.
Plugins and Versions
You can easily install a different version of the game, or use plugins.
To change versions or install a different edition of Minecraft (ie Paper, Purpur, Spigot, or Fabric) go to your game panel. Go to Advanced, and then Server Actions. You can then change anything you wish in just a couple clicks.
To install plugins, go to Tools, then Plugin Manager. You can browse a list of common plugins. If you wish to install one that is not on the list, you can do it yourself via the File Manager or email us at [email protected].
You may also install mods, though we offer other plans that are better suited for modded Minecraft.
FAQ
How many players can my Minecraft server hold?
It depends on RAM and plugins more than a hard cap. As a rule of thumb: 2 GB comfortably runs 2–5 players, 4 GB handles 5–10, and 8 GB supports 10–20 on a plugin server. Paper/Purpur stretch those numbers further.
Can I run plugins?
Yes. To install plugins, go to Tools, then Plugin Manager. You can browse a list of common plugins. If you wish to install one that is not on the list, you can do it yourself via the File Manager or email us at [email protected].
Do you support Bedrock Edition?
Yes. There’s a dedicated Bedrock plan, and Java servers can install the Geyser plugin if you want crossplay.
Can I switch Minecraft versions?
Yes. To change versions, go to your game panel. Go to Advanced, and then Server Actions.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
You can manage your plan in our store. Log in to your account, and you will see a list of products you have purchased. You can upgrade or downgrade to other Minecraft plans. You can also cancel, but we hope you don’t.
