FAQ
How much RAM does a Project Zomboid server need?
4 GB for small vanilla-ish groups, 6 GB for a modded server with players spreading out, 8 GB for larger groups or heavy mod lists. Map spread and mods drive it more than player count.
Can I add Steam Workshop mods and maps?
Yes — add them by Workshop ID from the panel. The server pulls them automatically. Players need the same mods subscribed.
A mod updated and players can’t join — what happened?
Workshop mod updates can desync the server and clients. Restart the server to pull the latest versions and keep load order matched.
Can I customize the sandbox settings?
Fully. Zombie population, loot rarity, XP multipliers, day length, and every other slider are editable from the panel.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
You can manage your plan in our store. Log in to your account, and you will see a list of products you have purchased. You can upgrade or downgrade to other Project Zomboid plans. You can also cancel, but we hope you don’t.
