How to install a modpack

Minecraft

If you have purchased a Minecraft server, your modpack could be very easy to install. Navigate to your game panel, and select the Minecraft server you would like to install a modpack on. Select “Tools” from the left sidebar, then “Modpack Manager”. You may then search for the one you want, or browse the list.

If the modpack you want is not in that list, then unfortunately we don’t offer one-click deployment for it, though other modpacks can still install be installed. If you would like us to do it for you, we would be happy to; Simply send us an email at [email protected]

Alternatively, you can upload it yourself. first, select the Minecraft server you would like to install a modpack on. Select “Configuration” from the left sidebar, then “Server Actions”. This page will allow you to select a different edition (Ie. Forge or Fabric) and a version for it. It may seem as if it failed to install due to the UI defaulting to ‘Vanilla’, but if you hit the Install button it will work. Once the correct mod loader is installed, it is usually wise to boot up the server to let it generate all the files, then shut it off again. You may then click “File Manager” to see all the files in your server. Look for a mods folder and upload all that are needed, as well as other files your modpack might have like configuration folders. This can be tricky if your modpack does not have a download version specifically to be run on servers; Again, if you shoot us an email we really will do it for you. Once you upload all the mods you will probably want to delete the world file. You can then start up the server and enjoy playing modded Minecraft!!
